Hi- I’m Cara, a registered speech-language therapist. With over 6 years experience working with children from diverse backgrounds, making a difference in communication and quality of life makes my job a joy!

Although my areas of speciality are autism and early intervention, I enjoy working as an all-round clinician with children of all ages. I love partnering with parents to see each child reach their potential. My most recent certifications include Gestalt Language Processing (including AAC) and Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy.

I am originally from South Africa, where I completed my training and worked in many multicultural contexts. This has equipped me for working with the growing expat community in the Netherlands. I’ve lived in the Netherlands since 2021 and am registered as a Logopedist (Speech Therapist) with the KP (Kwaliteitsregister Paramedici) and the NVLF (Nederlandse Vereniging voor Logopedie en Foniatrie).
